       Something fun about yourself: I am married with 2 step children, Sean who graduated from Althoff and Lauren (who is now a science teacher at ACHS).  I enjoy traveling and golf. I also like being here at Althoff where I can laugh and have fun with the students

      Something fun about yourself: He is a proud family man, father of three Althoff alums and grandfather of six.
      His interests include woodworking, remodeling and spending time with the family.
      Mr. Rensing is the recipient of the Crystal Apple Award (Emerson Electric) and several diocesan awards.
      He was inspired to become a teacher by former high school teachers, Brother Tony Pistone and Brother Francis Haug.

    Name: Father Ferd Cheri
    Subjects Taught: Guidance Counselor
    School Graduated from(degrees, etc.): Masters of Divinity, Notre Dame Seminary, New Orleans and Masters of Theology, Xavier University, New Orleans.
    How many years have you been teaching : 6 years in New Orleans and Chicago, 3 at Althoff
    Special Interest:   I collect gospel music.  I have over 5,300 recordings of Black Religious Music.  I love to sing and direct the Althoff Gospel Crusaders.  I also like weightlifting.  I have a gym in New Orleans.
    I am a Franciscan Friar working at St. Benedict the Black Center.  I am part of a team serving the East St. Louis Catholic Community.
    I love creating worship experiences for people and serve on the Diocesan Liturgical Commission.
